Nanoscrub Saves Rapper’s $1 Million Dollar Tiled Floor

Top American Rapper Jay-Z recently opened the ‘40/40 Club’, (located inside the Venetian’s new Palazzo Tower, Las Vegas) It has been labelled “the most expensive sports bar in the world” and days before hosting a private party for the US Superbowl weekend, they were still struggling to remove stubborn stains from the tile installation - expert help was needed!
A professional tile and stone restoration company had been called in to look at a number of issues. The worst of which was a persistent residue of adhesive that had never been properly removed from extensive paper-faced, glass mosaic floors. Aqua Mix’s Enrich n Seal had been used to great effect on slate flooring elsewhere in the club, they decided to ask their advice on the glass mosaic issue.
Co-incidentally, Rod Sigman, Division Technical Manager at Aqua Mix happened to be in the next building for the Surfaces tradeshow. He was asked to attend and after hearing about all the failed attempts and strong cleaning products that had been tried, he decided to conduct a small test area by hand with a little NanoScrub that he had with him. With a little scrubbing and a red scrub pad, the residue came off easily in no time at all. They ordered more product and the problem was solved.
Rod Sigman commented:
“What I love about this is not only did the NanoScrub work better than any of the other chemicals but it also didn’t create any odours that had to be ventilated, it is not flammable unlike the acetone he was using, and if they were to splash some by accident on some furniture, painted walls, etc it would not strip the finish or create a new problem again unlike the other products he was using. It did not harm his wet vacs or create any hazardous material to dispose of. And most importantly it did not harm the glass tile which is very important as the cost of the floor as I am told was about $1 million dollars”.
